Home/Government Quarantine Center

When traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, unless you are a Emirati resident or Citizen using Al Hosn App where all the Covid test info will be available, you won’t be able to enter Abu Dhabi without an approval from Home Quarantine center.

Al Hosn App

A form will be given at Government quarantine center and has to be filled up, the officials will check if the traveler is coming from green list countries or not. As mentioned above if a traveler has entered UAE from a green list country directly then won’t be needed to quarantine.

For example:

  1. Scenario 1: A traveler flying directly from New York to Dubai or Abu Dhabi is a green list nation so no quarantine required.
  2. Scenario 2: A traveler flying from New York to Zurich either stopover or stayed beyond 24 hours and entered UAE is also considered a green list nations since both are green list countries and therefore, no quarantine required.
  3. Scenario 3: A traveler flying from New York to Istanbul and then from Istanbul to UAE will have to go through quarantine since USA is a green list nation but Turkey is not on the green list countries currently in the UAE immigration.
